NEWS – サヤエンドウ (Sayaendou)

I was patiently browsing the internet because of my internet sux-ness when I stumbled upon this song.

I love to watch all Yamapi’s (or NEWS) clips where newshfan@LJ subbed (in fact I love any videos that are subbed because of my non-ability-ness to read or understand Nihongo) but I feel too lazy to download the whole set of their concert although newshfan have the whole DVD subbed. When I was searching for NEWS on youtube, this concert video came up and I thought “Why not?” since I haven’t watched it yet. Its their Never Ending Wonderful Story but I only managed to watch Part 1 because of (again) the internet.

I reallllllly love it when they open the concert with Yamapi’s Daite Senorita ^_^ and then they continue with other songs but the one that really catch my ears (and eyes) were this song, Sayaendou. I was like, stunned. When the part where Yamapi sang “無数の　迫る影 胸が騒い だ (musuu no semaru kage mune ga sawaida…)” Waaaahhhh!!!!!! *faint*. And then there’s more, when suddenly Yamapi -flies. Woaaahhhh…! *nosebleed this time. Ryo seems to be ‘the leader’ of the stage, and I like it when Tegoshi plays with one of the junior on stage. Kawaiii…. >_< This is just one part of the DVD. I’m sure I’m gonna be dead by the end of the concert (that is when m internet allows me to watch/download it). But I did manage to download the mp3 and able to find the lyrics >_<

Oh, and the song is actually an anime song, One Piece the Movie 7. Anyone here who doesn’t know what One Piece is, please raise your hand *zuppp – I’m raising both my hand* Ok I know I’m not alone ^_^. So I asked a friend of mine, Nisa, to tell me what One Piece is all about and she tells me that its all started when a former pirate king’s last word before his execution that his loot is hidden somewhere in the Grand Line. Thus the age of piracy was born. Luffy, aspired by the same dream, set off on his own journey to become the pirate king, but he accidentally ate a Devil Fruit that grant a person unimaginable strength and abilities. He ate the Gum-Gum fruit that makes his body almost like a rubber.

***The translations are from JpopAsia. Note that there is actually kanji, romaji and translation lyrics there in JPA but I prefer the one from AnimeLyrics dot com for the kanji because the way they arrange the letters are nice and easier (at least for me who have least knowledge about kanji >_<)
